Thanks for the valuable comment! You are right in saying that the OWiD chart is a mixed bag, containing both heat and electricity. I still find it valuable as it shows how much energy (EJ) is needed to actually run an economy, including those huge aluminum, steel, glass and other melting pots. Electricity alone is not enough to run the economy.
