Thanks for the book reviews, some titles got me quite interested. If you are on to reading something along these lines, you might wanna try N. K. Jemisin's Fifth season trilogy. It has the aura of a long lost high tech civilization, and what would it feel like to live in a radically simplified world, a shadow of its former self... And by the way: happy new year!
