I'm always reading your answers with great interest and I wonder every time why do you keep reading my articles if our viewpoints are so different. This time though, I have to say I agree with you: each region / country is responsible to secure the three things you have mentioned. It also made me ponder for a long time now, how EU leaders could have been so unimaginative when it came to those things you mentioned... With that said, what happens if a region simply - I mean physically - lacks adequate supplies of energy and perhaps food to feed its population and power its economy? How should their leaders react when they realize that they are in such situation?
