I fully agree. I refuse to believe the story of progress - not only from a technological standpoint, but from a human standpoint as well. Our brains, motives, impulses haven't changed at all in the past 10.000 years. Civilization is but a facade, behind which we find the same bunch of gullible, fragile, frightened, stressed out hominids, we would find back in the stone age.
