I agree. In this specific case though Russia (at least for now) seems to be a winner of climate change as more and more of its once frozen land becomes available for agriculture. Since it has the resources (primarily natural gas) to make enough fertilizer for its needs it will produce more food than ever before in history. But, only for now. On the long run heat waves and wildfires will make life very hard there as well, and this, together the eventual loss of fossil fuels (Russia is past it's peak oil production - admittedly) will lead to lower yields and a loss of its superpower status. As they say the future is here, it's just unevenly distributed.
