Hi Sudhir, my only advice is to learn to live without it. The irony of this is two-fold: one, we are still typing letters into a computer and eat food made with fossil fuels and electricity, and two, once electricity is gone too many of us will have too many problems to be solved all at once. I really don't know what to say at this point: should you prepare? Sure. Will you be overrun by the masses who simply could not prepare (for whatever reason)? Most probably. The more I think of this dilemma, the more I find it a predicament: a simple sign of how our populations grew much-much larger than what could be supported by Nature alone (i.e. without technology). I pray for peaceful population decline (due to ageing) before this happens. We should strive for a long smooth descent into low-tech and try to prevent abrupt collapse.
