Fully agree - this is what Seneca proposed as well when he was faced with the fall of the Roman empire. I cannot propose otherwise, than to be good and humane to each other as well as to those other beings who do not have a human voice. The rest will sort itself out anyway. (P.S. I also liked Tyson's book very much, actually I listened to the author's audiobook narration... a fantastic delivery of a message from a culture seven times older than this entire agricultural overshoot madness.)
