As we get closer to actually hitting the strides down the production curve the more accurate predictions become. World oil output was highest in 2019 - three years ago - and its unlikely we will hit that anytime soon. Now that oil CEO-s, including Aramco's Nasser has claimed that they cannot extend production capacity any further, we have a clear indication that most probably we will never exceed 201 9 levels again. Of course, you are free to believe that oil production will never fall, or will be replaced by electricity use, but I find it highly unlikely based on the data I see.
